Alumni: Home

Established in 1956, with the appointment of Elliot C. Lasser as the first full-time academic Chair, the Department of Radiology at the University of Pittsburgh has had a storied past of educating tomorrow’s leaders in Radiology. Since the program’s inception over 500 residents and fellows have been trained through the Department's rigorous educational program. Starting as a training program consisting of 3 residents the program has grown to train over 45 residents and 20 fellows annually. These trainees have gone on to transform the practice of radiology through their clinical, educational and research expertise.

The Department is extremely proud of its alumni and honored to have operated one of the largest training programs in the country for over 60 years. To continue this excellence and improve the training of the next generation of leaders, the Department is looking to reconnect and reengage its alumni. In collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine we are beginning the process of reaching out to our alumni and establishing an alumni network. If you are an alumnus of the program, please let us know how best to contact you by updating your information in the Update Contact Information page.
